Mungafali fodder is the dried groundnut plant after harvest — leaves and tender stems included — which makes it far more palatable and nutritious than cereal straw. It feeds out clean from the bale and mixes well with straw or green fodder to lift dry-matter intake in milking animals. As with any single forage, balance the full ration with concentrates and mineral supplementation.
